Al Ain Police Celebrations for the National Day include Traditional and National Events

The sections of the Al Ain Police Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ), witnessed traditional and national events in the celebrations for the 43rd National Day. Additional celebrations for the National Day were organized by the Forensic Evidence Section at the Forensic Evidence Department in the Directorate General of Security and Ports Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police and the Social Support Centre of the Social Support Centres Department at Abu Dhabi Police.

The events were attended by Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director of the Al Ain Police Directorate, along with a number of officers, police staff, individuals, and employees of the directorate. The events started with a marathon with participants from the police academies, Punitive and Correctional Establishments, Falaj Hazza Police Station, Al Madinah Police Station and the Al Ain Police Officers Club. The Sports Activity Section at the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development organized a tug-of-war competition.

In his speech, Major Ibrahim Al Hosani, of the Forensic Evidence Section, said: “During these glorious days marking the 43rd National day, we celebrate an immortal record of our precious country alongside the history of the entire region. The achievements realized within this period, in all fields, have become a beacon of progress and prosperity, and serve as a model for all countries and peoples to follow.”

The celebration of the Forensic Evidence Section of the Al Ain Police Directorate included many segments of activities that ignited the enthusiasm of the attendees. The activities included: traditional folk arts, traditional patriotic poems and songs, a classic car show, and a spectacle of kites with the flag of the UAE.

In conclusion, Brigadier Al Amimi honored the participating bodies as well as the sections, departments, and branches of the directorate for contributing to the success of the celebration. He additionally honored the retirees of the Forensic Evidence Section, who had served their duties with dedication and loyalty.

Joy of a Country

The Social Support Centre of the Social Support Centres Department at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ was adorned with lights and flags of the UAE to celebrate the 43rd National Day with joy and jubilation.

In his speech, Colonel Ali Salem Al Badi, Director of the Centre, discussed the importance of loyalty and of belonging to the leadership and to the country. He pointed to the developments and achievements in the UAE and the innovations in various sectors, which have made the UAE a world leader. He urged to establish the culture of citizenship, to instill the love of the country, and to promote cohesion between the people and their wise leadership.

This comes as a part of the celebrations held at the centre in its headquarters in the Al Jimi area, with Colonel Al Badi and a number of officers, branch directors, and employees in attendance.

The celebration included many traditional elements, commencing with the national anthem and verses from the Holy Qur’an. Student Ahmed Abdul-Aziz recited a poem entitled “The Day of the Union” and segments of Al Ayyalah and Yolla presented by the students of Amro bin Al Aas Elementary School, as well as the “Kulluna Khalifa” operetta by the students of Al Raqiah Primary School. The celebration was concluded with a number of traditional questions and puzzles to the audience, and the honoring of the participating bodies.

The centre presented entertainment shows and segments for the children in a children’s corner, where the children were able to show-off their artistic skills by coloring the UAE flag, have their faces painted with national figures, and partake in traditional games and competitions. The children’s corner at the centre brought much joy and happiness to the children.
