(BUSINESS WIRE) Ricola AG have chosen BOARD International as their provider for Business Intelligence (BI) and Corporate Performance Management (CPM). Rolf Kohler, Ricola’s CIO, explains: “We were looking for a solution for BI and our Forecasting and Budgeting Process. There were two main criteria: The new tool had to work with our SAP system and we wanted to be able to enter data directly and in a decentralised way through a webtool. Worldwide Sales Planning with BOARD in a second step
The project is supported by BOARD’s partner Acons Business Consulting from Zurich. The first phase, which has already started, focuses on Business Intelligence and Dashboarding for sales. From 2014 onwards, the sales intelligence will be integrated into the international Forecasting and Budgeting process. “The sales analysis and planning will be carried out using the same tool which will achieve great synergies for Ricola”, explains Monika Krafft from Acons. “BOARD creates a consistent view of the data for all users which reduces the potential for error.”
