Visa Data Shows Stablecoins Gaining Traction in Business Payments

New Visa data shows nearly 17%1 of stablecoin-linked card volume is occurring across business and commercial card programs, underscoring growing adoption of stablecoins for settlement, treasury management and cross-border commerce.

(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Visa (NYSE: V) shared new data showing the growing adoption of stablecoins across business payments and commercial card programs, underscoring how stablecoins are increasingly being used as financial infrastructure.

The findings come as businesses, financial institutions and payment providers increasingly explore stablecoins for settlement, treasury management, payouts and cross-border commerce.

New Visa data shows:

Approximately 17% of stablecoin-linked card volume in FY26 year-to-date occurred across business and commercial card programs.

Visa today supports more than 160 stablecoin-linked card programs spanning consumer, business and commercial card activity. Payments volume across these programs has grown nearly 200% year over year.

Businesses are increasingly exploring stablecoins for settlement, treasury management, payouts and cross-border commerce.

"Businesses aren't looking for new payment technologies for the sake of innovation. They’re looking for trusted, reliable ways to move money," said Mark Nelsen, Global Head of Product, Commercial & Money Movement Solutions, Visa. "What's changing is that stablecoins are increasingly becoming part of the conversation around real business applications, from supplier payments and treasury operations to cross-border commerce."

The Shift from Trading to Payments

For years, stablecoins have been associated with trading activity within digital asset markets, helping users move between cryptocurrencies and transact on crypto exchanges.

Today, businesses are increasingly putting stablecoins to work for payments, treasury operations and liquidity management.

Recent industry research from Allium found that payments are now the fastest-growing stablecoin use case, with annual payments volume estimated between $401 billion and $527 billion. The largest business payment categories include service fees ($56 billion), payroll ($43 billion) and supplier payments ($28 billion)2. Among the payment flows analyzed, B2B payments had the highest cross-border share, with 43% of volume occurring across borders3.

Visa is seeing that trend reflected across its own ecosystem. In FY26 year-to-date, approximately 17% of stablecoin-linked card volume occurred across business and commercial card programs, reflecting growing interest in stablecoins for settlement, treasury management and cross-border commerce.

Supporting the Next Generation of Money Movement

Visa continues to expand its stablecoin capabilities across settlement, money movement and payment acceptance. Through initiatives spanning stablecoin settlement, Visa Direct pre-funding and payouts, Visa is helping connect stablecoin innovation into real-world payment flows.

Thales Unveils a Global Framework to Protect Critical Organisations from Frontier AI Attacks

Thales believes that frontier models call for a revolution in the pace of cyber defence: while the fundamentals of cybersecurity remain valid, they must now be executed at machine speed, without ever relinquishing human judgement over the decisions that matter.

Today, Thales unveiled an end-to-end framework to help critical organisations counter a new generation of cyber threats, spanning application security, detection and response, a global cyber defence platform, continuous evaluation and critical-asset resilience.

As adversaries attack, adapt and multiply at machine speed, simply stacking isolated tools is no longer enough. Thales positions AI-driven, automated defence under human oversight as an essential evolution of cyber defence.

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- At the Thales Cyber Summit held in Paris (France) , Thales today unveiled a global response to the challenges created by Frontier AI models. Reasoning, autonomy and scale of these cutting-edge systems far exceed previous generations, and can accelerate vulnerability discovery, exploit development and cyberattack execution at machine speed. This marks a shift in AI from a tool that assists humans to one that acts autonomously, reshaping the threat landscape for organisations, the first of which those operating critical systems.

“Frontier AI models represent a new inflection point for cybersecurity. The challenge is not only technological; it is about helping organisations act before risks materialize, understand the implications, assess their exposure, and, if an attack still succeeds, ensure resilience and quick recovery. By combining advanced technologies with strategic and operational cybersecurity services, our ambition is to give customers the insight, expertise and continuous support they need to navigate this new reality with confidence,” said Philippe Vallée, Executive Vice-President, Cybersecurity & Digital Identity, Thales.

Thales believes that the combination of advanced technology and human expertise is essential to interpret emerging threats, understand exposure, make informed decisions and translate them into effective operational action. Technology alone will not be enough to address this shift, as capabilities evolve at machine speed.

Helping customers move from reactive measures to a continuously tested resilience model

This service-led framework is structured around five interconnected building blocks: securing the application estate, AI-augmented detection and response, a converged cyberdefence platform, continuous testing and risk evaluation, and the protection and resilience of critical assets. Their strength lies not in any single component but in their automated interconnection, allowing threat intelligence, vulnerabilities, exposure, detection, remediation and proof of effectiveness to circulate continuously across the whole chain.

Strategic partnerships with leading technology providers

Thales works with leading technology providers to enhance the assessment and mitigation of advanced AI-powered cyber threats. Through a single trusted partner, customers gain privileged access to state-of-the-art AI capabilities designed specifically for cybersecurity.

As a member of Google’s Fairwind program, Thales will enable critical industries to benefit from Google’s latest cyber AI innovations, including Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber and the CodeMender harness.

Elliptic Sets the Engineering Bar for On-Chain Risk With “Built for Compliance” Paper as New Rules Take Hold and Banks Launch a Joint Stablecoin

Built for compliance arrives as crypto compliance rules tighten worldwide and a bank-led stablecoin enters the market

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Elliptic, the global leader in on-chain risk management, today published Built for compliance, a paper setting out the nine engineering decisions that determine whether an on-chain risk system can support fast, accurate and defensible compliance decisions at agentic scale.

Machines are already moving money on their own, at machine speed. Compliance teams now have to make hundreds of thousands of decisions a day, at that same speed. However, many on-chain risk systems were never engineered to support that pace. A compliance system that computes exposure on a schedule delivers stale results. One that defines blockchain coverage loosely enough lets a screening miss exposure entirely. A system that skips testing disaster recovery, a spike or an outage, takes down the customer’s compliance system too.

That gap between machine speed and system design is exactly what regulators are now closing. As US regulators put together market-structure regulation, the GENIUS Act's stablecoin rules take hold, the UK's FCA crypto authorization gateway opens up, and Europe's MiCA is now fully in force, traditional financial institutions, payment providers and crypto businesses around the globe will be asked whether they use AI and whether they can explain, configure and defend every decision it makes. This comes as some of the world's largest banks and asset managers, including Goldman Sachs, Citi, Bank of America, Deutsche Bank and UBS, announced a joint venture to issue a US dollar stablecoin, targeting launch in the first half of 2027.

Elliptic's new paper, Built for compliance, arms financial institutions, payment providers and crypto businesses with the nine engineering criteria they should require evidence of from every provider, so their own compliance decisions are fast, accurate and defensible at scale.

The nine engineering criteria, and how Elliptic solves for them, are:

Real-time computation: exposure is computed the moment you screen, never served from a stored result.

99.99% uptime: delivered on Elliptic's API in 2025 and 2026.

Absorbing volume spikes: a customer's volume increased fivefold over two days; Elliptic absorbed it without incident and without warning.

Full blockchain coverage: 65 blockchains fully covered against four strict criteria, with sanctions monitored across every blockchain.

Cross-chain analysis: a single screening follows funds across blockchains, through more than 300 bridges, decentralized exchanges and coinswap services.

Sanctions screening beyond the list: addresses are connected to their controlling entity, catching addresses a regulator may not have published.

Configurable risk rules: more than 70 risk categories, set and changed by the customer, not the vendor.

Continuous monitoring: a full rescreen and new risk score whenever something changes.

Full disaster recovery: a tested, complete failover of Elliptic's primary cloud region with no loss of screening.

Jackson Hull, CTO at Elliptic, commented: “These nine criteria must be the foundation of every on-chain risk system. When compliance teams are evaluating a provider, they don't see these nine principles in a demo. They find out what they were on the day volume spikes, the provider's region fails, or a regulator asks about a decision made three years ago.”

We built every one of these criteria for enterprise-grade compliance. As on-chain finance scales and agents transact at machine speed, the systems that survive are the ones built for compliance from day one. Elliptic is one of them.

Tokenized financial services and stablecoin settlement are bringing money transfer volumes onto blockchains, autonomous agents are beginning to transact at machine speed, and illicit actors are already using AI across the criminal lifecycle.

Elliptic set out what those forces demand of an on-chain risk system in the Elliptic Standard, published in September 2026, which sets out eight principles for governing agentic on-chain risk. Built for compliance builds on that work, setting out the nine engineering criteria that put those principles into practice today.

Boomi Recognized as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for API Management

Boomi’s recognition as a Leader in API management reflects its vision and execution

(BUSINESS WIRE)--Boomi, the data activation company for AI, today announced it has been recognized as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for API Management. We believe the recognition reflects Boomi’s sustained investment in Boomi API Management as the governance layer enterprises use to turn fragmented APIs into a trusted foundation for AI.

Our Key Takeaways

  • Boomi has been recognized as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for API Management. A complimentary copy of the report is available here.
  • Boomi is also a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Integration Platform as a Service, where it has been named a Leader 12 consecutive times.
  • Boomi API Management gives organizations one control plane for the full API lifecycle, with automatic discovery of APIs across distributed gateways - including shadow and zombie APIs - to create a single trusted inventory.
  • Boomi API Management curates and exposes integrations and APIs as governed, MCP-enabled tools, centralizing every server in one vendor-agnostic registry so AI agents can consume enterprise systems safely.

"APIs are how AI actually reaches the systems that run a business, and that makes API management the difference between an AI pilot and an AI program," said Steve Lucas, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Boomi. "We are proud to be recognized as a Leader in API management. Enterprises are no longer treating the API layer and the agent layer as separate problems, and they should not have to buy them separately either. Our customers govern both in one place, on one platform."

A Leader in Vision and Execution

Boomi API Management provides full lifecycle management of an organization's APIs, with natural language design, no-code build, robust policy enforcement for security and traffic control, and flexible deployment across Boomi, cloud, and third-party gateways. Security and quality scoring, API curation and productization, and real-time business analytics keep that inventory governed as it grows.

Boomi believes its position in this year's report reflects a shift in how enterprises buy: not standalone gateways, but universal governance across every gateway and provider, with the executive-level observability leaders need to make smarter API investment decisions.

Fueling Agentic Workflows

As organizations adopt AI agents, governed APIs become the mechanism by which those agents reach enterprise systems. Because Boomi API Management sits within the Boomi Enterprise Platform alongside Boomi Agentstudio, Boomi Data Hub, and Boomi Data Integration, enterprises can build, manage, and govern AI agents on the same platform that powers the APIs, integrations, and data those agents depend on.

NIQ Expands Google Relationship with Meridian Integration into NIQ Cadence™

CHICAGO - Wednesday, 30. September 2026

Meridian, Google’s open-source Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), is now available within NIQ Cadence™, accelerating the path from measurement to continuous marketing optimization in one connected workflow.

(BUSINESS WIRE)--NIQ (NYSE: NIQ), a leading consumer intelligence company, today announced the expansion of its relationship with Google through the integration of Meridian, Google's open-source MMM framework, into NIQ Cadence™, NIQ's AI-native marketing effectiveness operating system. The strategic partnership gives marketers a single place to measure marketing performance and act on it, shortening the distance between insights and optimization.

Marketing leaders are under growing pressure to prove the return on every media dollar, and traditional measurement has struggled to keep pace. In NIQ’s latest CMO Report, 74% of CMOs said they were under more scrutiny to prove marketing ROI, while just 9% felt they had adequate access to real-time insights. NIQ Cadence™ was built to help close the 65-point actionability gap between accountability and timeliness. Rather than treating measurement as a one-time event, the integration brings Meridian into NIQ Cadence™, a unified platform which brings data, models, and scenario planning together so marketers can measure marketing performance and act on optimizations in real-time.

Integrating Meridian into that loop means the transparent, open-source modeling that organizations already trust now sits alongside the data that feeds it and the decisions that follow. NIQ’s proprietary global data and a marketer’s own inputs flow into the Meridian model, the model runs inside NIQ Cadence™, and the results move straight into scenario planning, optimization, and ongoing performance monitoring.

"Marketing leaders have told us they don't need another standalone model. They need a faster path from insight to action," said Jason Tate, General Manager, Marketing Effectiveness at NIQ. "By bringing Meridian into NIQ Cadence™, we're helping teams expedite data preparation, accelerate modeling cycles, and keep marketing measurement connected to the business decisions it should drive. All of which is dynamically updated through automated APIs, helping marketers get insights faster and more consistently.”

Key Benefits Include:

Faster model development through streamlined data connectivity and reduced manual preparation

Faster decision-making across media investment opportunities

Continuous performance monitoring to keep MMM results fresh

Scenario planning and optimization within the same environment

Greater transparency through Google's open-source Meridian methodology

NIQ has been a certified Meridian partner since 2025 and has deep expertise helping brands implement MMM programs using Google's framework. The integration into NIQ Cadence™ represents the next phase of that relationship, extending Meridian from a measurement methodology into an ongoing marketing effectiveness workflow.

NetApp Honors the International Union for Conservation of Nature with the Social Impact Award for Intelligent Data for Good

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Wednesday, 30. September 2026 AETOSWire

Award celebrates the role of data infrastructure to advance global nature conservation

(BUSINESS WIRE)--NetApp® (NASDAQ: NTAP), the Intelligent Data Infrastructure company, today announced that it awarded the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) the 2026 Social Impact Award for Intelligent Data for Good at NetApp INSIGHT 2026, NetApp's flagship global event dedicated to technological innovation, taking place in Las Vegas from September 29 to October 1.

Part of NetApp’s Social Impact Awards program, this recognition honors customers and partners using NetApp technology in support of social or environmental impact initiatives. The Intelligent Data for Good category reflects NetApp’s commitment to recognizing and supporting organizations using intelligent data to improve lives and strengthen communities.

IUCN is the world's largest and most diverse environmental network, bringing together governments, civil society organizations, and experts to advance conservation action worldwide. Uniquely composed of more than 1,600 government and civil society member organizations and 19,000 volunteer experts, IUCN influences, encourages, and assists societies worldwide to conserve nature and ensure natural resources are used equitably and sustainably.

“IUCN has built a resilient, sustainable data foundation that gives researchers, scientists, and policymakers reliable access to the information they need to help protect biodiversity,” said César Cernuda, President at NetApp. “This far-reaching impact reflects the purpose of NetApp’s Social Impact Intelligent Data for Good Award. By making critical insights available when and where they are needed, IUCN is strengthening its ability to safeguard nature around the world.”

The award recognizes IUCN's remarkable achievement in building an Intelligent Data Infrastructure that enables the organization to quickly and confidently access, manage, and activate its data to fulfill its critical mission of conserving the world's biodiversity. With more than 175,900 species assessed on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™ and operations spanning over 160 countries, the scale and reliability of IUCN's data infrastructure enables the organization to support the health of our planet's biodiversity.

Since a system outage or data loss could disrupt vital research or delay urgent policy recommendations, IUCN needed infrastructure that could deliver constant availability, security, and integrity of the data that fuels conservation work. The NetApp Platform empowers field researchers, scientists, and global policymakers with fast, reliable, and uninterrupted access to vital conservation data, regardless of geography or operational complexity. As an added benefit, the implementation has led to a notable reduction in power consumption, ensuring that the IUCN's IT operations are sustainable and cost effective as it enacts its mission.

“Receiving this award reflects the dedication of our teams and the importance of the mission we serve,” said Francois Jolles, Chief Information Officer at the International Union for Conservation of Nature. “Data is at the heart of everything we do, from assessing threatened species to shaping international environmental policy. Trusted, resilient infrastructure gives our experts reliable access to critical conservation data, enabling us to turn knowledge into meaningful results for nature and people around the world.”

Latest NIQ Consumer Outlook survey and report reveals shoppers are becoming more selective, with more than $23 billion shifting away from mainstream-priced CPG products toward value and premium alternatives

(BUSINESS WIRE)--With over a third (34%) of global consumers saying they are financially worse off than they were a year ago, and another third (30%) saying they are financially better off, consumers are no longer waiting for economic conditions to improve. Around the world, households are adapting to a future where volatility remains a persistent reality, creating increasingly different financial outcomes, spending priorities, and pathways to growth.

These findings come from NielsenIQ’s (NYSE: NIQ) latest global Consumer Outlook survey of more than 21,000 respondents across 31 countries, combined with NIQ's measurement of real-world purchasing behavior. The research reveals that economic uncertainty is no longer a temporary disruption, but a defining feature of how consumers make decisions.

Findings include:

34% of global consumers globally say they are financially worse off than they were a year ago, while 30% of consumers say they are financially better off

77% of financially challenged consumers blame rising living costs for their worsening financial situation

More than $23 billion USD in value share has shifted away from mainstream-priced CPG products toward value and premium alternatives

34% of global shoppers say quality and performance are the leading determinants of whether a purchase is worthwhile

A basket costing $100 USD in 2024 now costs approximately $105 USD, globally

The research reveals a growing consumer divide; as households navigate rising costs, shifting priorities, and uneven financial circumstances, they are becoming more deliberate about what they purchase, where they shop, and which brands they choose. But this is not simply a story of consumers trading down: NIQ’s measured data shows spending shifting away from the mainstream middle toward both value and premium alternatives, as consumers seek products that clearly justify either the savings they offer or the premium they command.

“The most important story is not that consumers are under pressure, it's that they’re responding to that pressure in fundamentally different ways,” said Lauren Fernandes, Vice President, Global Content at NIQ. “The next phase of consumer growth will be shaped less by the average consumer and more by increasingly different spending realities. Across many markets, we are seeing consumers gravitate toward either meaningful savings or meaningful upgrades, creating pressure on the middle of the market and forcing brands to be much clearer about where they compete and why they matter.”

The findings suggest that economic polarization is no longer simply an economic phenomenon. It is increasingly visible within measured consumer behavior, spending intentions, and market structure itself. As growth concentrates across value and premium segments, organizations will need a more nuanced understanding of where demand is emerging, which consumers are driving it, and how those dynamics differ from market to market. FAQs

Q: What is Consumer Outlook: Guide to 2027?

A: Consumer Outlook: Guide to 2027 is NIQ's latest global thought leadership report exploring how consumers are adapting to ongoing economic uncertainty, shifting spending priorities, and changing purchasing behaviors. The report combines NIQ's global consumer survey data with observed retail purchasing behavior to identify emerging trends shaping consumer markets worldwide.

Q: How was the research conducted?

A: The findings are based on NIQ's global Consumer Outlook survey of more than 21,000 consumers across 31 countries, combined with NIQ's measurement of real-world purchasing behavior across global retail markets.

Q: What does the $23 billion shift away from mainstream-priced products mean?

A: NIQ's analysis found that consumers are increasingly moving spending away from traditionally mainstream-priced consumer packaged goods and toward either value-oriented options that help stretch budgets or premium products that offer perceived quality, performance, or other benefits that justify a higher price.

Q: Are consumers simply trading down because of inflation?

A: No. The research suggests a more nuanced trend. While some consumers are seeking savings and value, others continue to spend on premium products that they believe are worth the additional cost. This has created increasing polarization in spending patterns across many categories.

Q: What is driving the growing consumer divide?

A: Consumers are experiencing economic conditions differently. Rising living costs, income differences, varying levels of financial resilience, and changing personal priorities are contributing to different spending behaviors and financial outcomes.

Q: What does this mean for brands and retailers?

A: Brands and retailers may need to move beyond a one-size-fits-all strategy. Understanding which consumer segments are driving growth, how spending priorities differ, and where consumers perceive value can help organizations better position products and marketing investments.

NetApp and Supermicro Collaborate to Power AI at Any Scale

Joint solution combines compute and data infrastructure to optimize GPUs at scale

(BUSINESS WIRE)--NetApp® (NASDAQ: NTAP), the Intelligent Data Infrastructure company, today announced a strategic collaboration with Supermicro to deliver jointly validated AI infrastructure solutions spanning large-scale AI factories, enterprise deployments, neoclouds, and sovereign AI initiatives. By combining Supermicro's AI-optimized compute and rack-scale systems with the NetApp Platform, the companies will help customers accelerate deployment, improve GPU utilization, strengthen data governance, and reduce operational complexity.

NetApp and Supermicro are creating a full-stack foundation for AI that extends beyond high-performance storage. The collaboration brings together Supermicro’s rack-scale compute, networking, power, and liquid-cooling expertise with the NetApp Platform’s unified data management, cyber resilience, hybrid-cloud leadership, and disaggregated scale. Customers gain an architecture that can be deployed quickly, evolve across generations of compute, and deliver a consistent data experience from enterprise environments to the world’s largest AI factories. Because the compute and data infrastructure are tested and validated as a unified system, customers can shorten design and integration cycles, reduce deployment risk, and move AI environments into production faster.

“Customers need AI infrastructure that drives innovation and transformation, delivers world-class economics, and works seamlessly at scale from day one,” said Alvaro Celis, Senior Vice President, Chief Commercial, Partner and Ecosystem Officer at NetApp. “By combining Supermicro’s AI leadership and ability to scale with the NetApp Platform, we can give customers—from commercial, enterprise to internet-with the most demanding requirements—secure, reliable AI solutions they can deploy quickly to accelerate innovation and build market leadership.”

The collaboration will make it faster and easier for customers to build Intelligent Data Infrastructure powered by the NetApp Platform in demanding AI factory environments. By pairing AI-optimized compute with AI-ready data services, NetApp and Supermicro will deliver jointly validated solutions organized around three core capabilities:

  • Integrated AI Solutions at Scale: Supermicro's AI-optimized servers, GPU platforms, and rack-scale systems combine with the NetApp Platform to deliver a validated solution for AI deployments ranging from individual enterprise AI projects to full AI factories, gigafactories, and sovereign AI initiatives.
  • Enterprise-Grade Data Management, Security, and Sovereignty: The joint solutions are expected to deliver the governance, cyber resilience, and compliance that enterprises, governments, neoclouds, and GPU-as-a-service providers require, so customers can scale AI while keeping maintaining strong governance and control over their data.
  • Maximized AI Investment ROI Through AI-Ready Data: The collaboration removes data bottlenecks to keep GPUs supplied with high-performance access to data for training, inference, and retrieval-augmented generation. Customers will spend less time waiting on data and instead spend more time training models.

The collaboration also enables customers to scale compute and data independently as workload needs change, improving infrastructure efficiency and preserving flexibility across the AI lifecycle. Customers adopting the joint solution will be able to securely access and manage data across on-premises and cloud environments, bringing AI infrastructure to the data while maintaining consistent governance and protection.

“Supermicro and NetApp have collaborated to offer AI-optimized, rack-scale infrastructure with intelligent data infrastructure built for governance, cyber resilience, sovereignty, and hybrid cloud flexibility,” said Matthew Thauberger, Chief Revenue Officer, Supermicro. “Whether customers are deploying an enterprise AI cluster, building a neocloud, delivering GPU-as-a-service, or standing up a sovereign AI factory, this collaboration gives them a validated path where the infrastructure and the data are designed to work together from the start.”

To simplify the customer deployment and operations of NetApp Novus architecture, NetApp and Supermicro will deliver NetApp Novus Data Director software running on qualified Supermicro servers with NetApp AFF A90 systems as the high-performance ONTAP data layer. By separating the metadata and data planes, NetApp Novus enables each to scale independently within a single namespace, helping AI infrastructure providers expand performance and capacity as their environments grow without repeatedly redesigning the underlying architecture. This initial implementation is the first step in a broader collaboration to co-engineer integrated infrastructure solutions for enterprise AI, neocloud, sovereign AI, and large-scale AI factory environments.

NetApp and Supermicro are also collaborating to support enterprises building a private AI platform with NetApp AIPod with Supermicro, a NetApp-validated converged infrastructure architecture based on the NVIDIA Reference Architecture guidance. Validated as a complete system and delivered through NetApp’s ecosystem of channel partners, this solution gives enterprises proven guidance for AI training, inference, and agentic workloads from dozens to hundreds of GPUs.

Statements by NetApp about unreleased offerings and future plans are for informational purposes only, are subject to change without notice, and should not be relied upon for purchasing or other decisions. Such statements do not constitute a commitment, obligation, guarantee, or warranty of any kind by NetApp, including about availability, functionality, pricing, or timing.

EADV 2026: Galderma’s New Data Show Sustained Improvements with Nemluvio® (nemolizumab) for up to Three Years in Patients With Moderate-to-severe Atopic Dermatitis

ZUG, Switzerland - Wednesday, 30. September 2026

New three-year ARCADIA long-term extension data demonstrate that Nemluvio is well-tolerated and associated with sustained and continuous improvements in skin lesions, itch, sleep disturbance and quality of life in adults and adolescents with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis1
The findings, to be shared at EADV 2026, show that up to 91% of patients achieved at least 75% improvement in eczema severity, up to 67% achieved near-complete skin clearance, and approximately 90% reported clinically meaningful improvements in itch and quality of life at Week 1521
Additional analyses to be presented further establish itch and skin lesions as central drivers of sleep disturbance and overall quality of life impairment in prurigo nodularis and atopic dermatitis2,3
Collectively, these data reinforce our understanding of the long-term efficacy and safety profile of Nemluvio and underscore Galderma's long-standing commitment to improving the outcomes that matter most to patients with atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis

(BUSINESS WIRE)--Galderma (SIX: GALD), the pure-play dermatology category leader, is presenting new three-year data from the ARCADIA long-term extension study, demonstrating that Nemluvio is well-tolerated and associated with sustained and continuous improvements in skin lesions, itch, sleep disturbance and quality of life in adults and adolescents with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis.1 The findings will be shared in an oral presentation, titled ‘Long-term safety and efficacy (up to 152 weeks) of nemolizumab in ARCADIA open-label extension study in adults and adolescents with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis’, at the 2026 European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) Congress in Vienna, Austria, on Thursday, October 1, from 10:45-10:55 AM CET in Hall N by Dr. Matthias Augustin, an ARCADIA clinical trial investigator.

This press release features multimedia. View the full release here: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20260929663019/en/

“These three-year data provide important evidence of the long-term impact of Nemluvio, showing that improvements with Nemluvio were not only achieved but sustained over time, with durable benefits observed across skin symptoms, itch, sleep disturbance and quality of life. Coupled with a well-characterized safety profile, these findings add to the robust and growing body of evidence regarding the long-term use of Nemluvio in moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis.”

PROFESSOR JONATHAN SILVERBERG
LEAD INVESTIGATOR OF THE ARCADIA CLINICAL PROGRAM, PROFESSOR OF DERMATOLOGY, GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE AND HEALTH SCIENCES, UNITED STATES

Three-year data show sustained disease control and symptom improvement in atopic dermatitis

The ARCADIA open-label long-term extension study assesses the long-term safety and efficacy of Nemluvio in adults and adolescents aged ≥12 years with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis for up to 200 weeks.1 At Week 152, Nemluvio was well-tolerated and associated with sustained improvements in skin lesions, itch, sleep disturbance and quality of life.1 Based on observed case analyses:

Up to 91% of patients achieved at least 75% improvement in eczema severity (EASI-75), and up to 75% achieved at least 90% improvement in eczema severity (EASI-90)1
Up to 67% of patients achieved clear or almost clear skin (IGA 0/1)1
Up to 88% of patients achieved clinically meaningful itch relief and up to 73% achieved an itch-free or nearly itch-free state1
Up to 92% of patients achieved clinically meaningful improvements in dermatology-related quality of life1
The safety profile of Nemluvio remained consistent with previous findings through three years of treatment, with no new safety signals identified compared to previous long-term extension study interim analyses1,4

“The three-year ARCADIA long-term extension data further strengthen Nemluvio’s robust evidence base, demonstrating significant and lasting improvements in skin lesions, with up to 75% of patients achieving EASI-90 at Week 152, one of the most stringent clinical endpoints, as well as in itch and quality of life outcomes. These findings underscore Galderma’s commitment to advancing innovation that addresses patients’ long-term needs.”

CHRISTOPHE PIKETTY, M.D., PH.D.

GLOBAL PROGRAM HEAD, THERAPEUTIC DERMATOLOGY

GALDERMA

Additional findings highlight Nemluvio’s favorable long-term safety and efficacy profile in atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis

Additional data presented at EADV 2026 will provide further insights into Nemluvio’s long-term safety and efficacy profile. The findings will be shared in an E-poster in which Nemluvio was concluded to have a favorable and well-tolerated cutaneous (skin-related) safety profile in patients with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis over two years in a post-hoc analysis of the ARCADIA and OLYMPIA long-term extension studies.5

A separate descriptive analysis of patient-reported outcomes from the OLYMPIA long-term extension study will be presented via E-poster, which indicated sustained and clinically meaningful improvements with Nemluvio across multiple dimensions of prurigo nodularis burden up to Week 148, including itch, pain, sleep disturbance and quality of life.2

Further analyses explore the impact of Nemluvio on sleep disturbance and quality of life

In addition, new analyses of data from the ARCADIA and OLYMPIA clinical trials identified clinically meaningful improvements in sleep disturbance with Nemluvio compared with placebo, while highlighting that sleep disturbance was closely linked to itch intensity and skin lesion severity.3 These data are being presented orally by Prof. Dr. Franz Legat on Thursday, October 1, from 11:15-11:25 AM CET in Hall N in a presentation titled ‘Comparative effects of itch, skin lesion severity and nemolizumab on sleep disturbance in atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis’.

Collectively, the data presented at EADV 2026 demonstrate Galderma’s continued investment in clinical research and add to the growing body of evidence supporting Nemluvio as an effective treatment option for patients with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis. This underscores Galderma's commitment to advancing the care of chronic pruritic skin diseases and delivering meaningful outcomes for patients through science-backed innovations.

Media can find more information and resources on atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis in this toolkit.

About Nemluvio

Nemluvio is the first approved monoclonal antibody that specifically targets and inhibits the signaling of IL-31 – a neuroimmune cytokine that drives itch and is involved in inflammation and epidermal dysregulation in both atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis and in fibrosis in prurigo nodularis.6-9

NetApp Removes Storage Bottleneck for AI Factories

New architecture delivers fastest storage on the planet, designed to maximize GPU utilization and architected for up to 100 TB per second aggregate throughput

(BUSINESS WIRE)--NetApp® (NASDAQ: NTAP), the Intelligent Data Infrastructure company, today announced NetApp Novus™, the fastest storage on the planet designed for AI infrastructure providers operating large GPU environments. Built to support a zettabyte-scale file system, this next-generation architecture will allow AI factories to keep millions of GPUs continuously fed with data, maximizing the efficiency, utilization, and profitability of their investments.

Neoclouds and GPU-as-a-Service providers are building AI factories at a scale that traditional storage architectures were never designed to support, creating bottlenecks that reduce GPU utilization and increase infrastructure costs. Under traditional architectures, GPU utilization can drop below 30 percent when AI factories cannot feed enough data to their GPUs to generate the results they need and make a return on their investment.

“AI factories struggle and GPU economics collapse when data can't keep up," said Syam Nair, Chief Product Officer at NetApp. "HPC-era storage alone cannot serve AI Factory scale — the industry needs a true architecture built for it from the ground up. AI factories have long been searching for infrastructure that can scale at AI speed. Leveraging the power of the NetApp Platform, Novus delivers 100 TB/s of unlimited scale-out performance, leapfrogging the market to serve as the new high-performance, AI-scale storage architecture that unlocks the performance of millions of GPUs and delivers the return on investment needed to sustain the next wave of AI innovation. We’ve just delivered the fastest storage on the planet, that is purpose built for the AI Era."

NetApp Novus addresses the challenges faced by AI factories by providing a next generation architecture that is designed to eliminates scale limitations in separating metadata from the data path so performance, capacity, and concurrency can scale independently under a single name space using industry-standard NFS. The initial Novus releases combines NetApp Novus Data Director, the metadata software, running on qualified Supermicro infrastructure with NetApp ONTAP® data services delivered through AFF A90 systems. Together they create a disaggregated architecture that is built to exceed throughput of 100TB per second and support high utilization of hundreds of thousands of GPUs while preserving the enterprise data services customers trust from ONTAP. This architecture is designed to meet the demands of multi-tenant, cloud-scale AI factories, is orderable today, and provides a path to software-defined deployments over time while maintaining the same namespace, operating model, and data foundation.

Customers that adopt the Novus architecture can realize the following benefits:

Keep Every GPU Productive: Novus is designed to maximize GPU utilization by separating metadata services from the data path, reducing storage-related bottlenecks, and keeping AI infrastructure fed with high-performance data.

Scale Without Fragmentation: Novus enables billions of files and massive AI datasets to grow under a single namespace, allowing metadata, bandwidth, and capacity to scale independently without creating storage silos or operational complexity.

Improve AI Infrastructure Efficiency: Novus lets operators scale only the resources required for each workload, helping reduce power, space, and infrastructure overhead while preserving the resiliency, security, and multi-tenant capabilities needed for shared AI environments.

"As AI infrastructure providers scale GPU environments, the economics increasingly depend on keeping compute resources fully utilized," said Mike Leone, Vice President & Principal Analyst at Moor Insights & Strategy. "Storage architectures that can't deliver data at cloud scale can become a limiting factor for training performance, tenant isolation, and return on infrastructure investment. NetApp Novus directly addresses that limit by combining disaggregated metadata management with high-performance data services, giving neocloud and GPU-as-a-service providers a more scalable foundation for AI factory operations.”

“Omdia audited NetApp Novus demonstrate near-linear performance scaling as ONTAP clusters were added to a single global namespace,” said Tony Palmer, Chief Analyst with Omdia. “Based on the rigorous testing we observed, our modeling projects that NetApp Novus disaggregated metadata and data architecture can scale up and out to 100TBps sequential read throughput with dozens of exabytes of effective capacity, and beyond. We are confident in our projections that the solution can scale to the needs of zettascale deployments to fuel the most demanding and data hungry AI workloads.”

“Our longstanding collaboration with NetApp is about bringing compute, networking and data together to make complex infrastructure simpler for customers,” said Jeremy Foster, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Cisco Compute. “As AI pushes infrastructure to new levels of scale and speed, the real differentiation isn’t the GPU — it’s the data and how customers use it. NetApp Novus, together with the rest of the stack, helps customers put that data to work and drive the outcomes that matter to their business.”

Murata Begins Mass Production of World’s Smallest 0201-inch Size Three-Terminal Low-ESL MLCCs

 KYOTO, Japan - Wednesday, 30. September 2026

New series cuts mounting area by approximately 64%, supporting high-performance smartphones and wearables

(BUSINESS WIRE)--Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (TOKYO: 6981) (ISIN: JP3914400001) has begun mass production of the LLD series, the world’s smallest* three-terminal low-equivalent series inductance (ESL) multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC). Measuring just 0201-inch size (0.6 × 0.3 mm), the new products reduce mounting area by approximately 64% compared with Murata’s previous smallest 0402-inch size (1.0 × 0.5 mm), freeing up valuable PCB space in compact devices such as smartphones and wearables.

As smartphones and wearables incorporate increasingly powerful ICs, maintaining a stable power supply becomes more challenging. High-speed operation causes current demand to change rapidly, which can lead to fluctuations in the voltage supplied to the IC. Minimizing this instability is essential for reliable performance. Three-terminal capacitors with their four, shorter current paths provide lower ESL compared with conventional two-terminal parts, helping maintain a stable power supply to the IC.

At the same time, thinner and smaller electronic devices require efficient use of limited PCB space. However, miniaturizing three-terminal capacitors has been difficult because their internal and external electrode structures are more complex than those of conventional two-terminal types.

Murata overcame this challenge by optimizing the electrode design and advancing its manufacturing processes. The resulting 0201-inch products enable high-density mounting while stabilizing the power supply voltage near ICs, even at high frequencies. This gives designers greater flexibility in component placement and circuit design around ICs, supporting higher performance in space-constrained electronic devices.

Two models are available. LLD033R60G105ME01 has a capacitance of 1 µF, a rated voltage of 4 Vdc, and an operating temperature range of -55 to +85°C. LLD033D80E105ME01 has a capacitance of 1 µF, a rated voltage of 2.5 Vdc, and an operating temperature range of -55 to +105°C.

Murata will continue developing compact, high-performance MLCCs for mobile and wearable devices, contributing to further miniaturization and enhanced performance of electronic equipment.

NetApp Empowers Enterprises to Build Anything, Anywhere

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Wednesday, 30. September 2026 AETOSWire

New hybrid multi-cloud capabilities remove borders between on-premises and cloud operations

(BUSINESS WIRE)--NetApp® (NASDAQ: NTAP), the Intelligent Data Infrastructure company, today announced new hybrid multi-cloud capabilities with autonomous controls to maximize enterprise flexibility and efficiency for any workload. Enterprises can now more easily adopt modern data strategies across on-premises and cloud environments leveraging new capabilities for consistent operations that account for sovereignty, governance, and controlled consumption.

As enterprise applications and AI workloads increasingly span on-premises environments, public clouds, sovereign regions, and emerging AI Factory architectures, organizations need more than infrastructure flexibility. They need a consistent operating model that can keep pace with machine-speed demand while meeting requirements for governance, resilience, efficiency, and jurisdictional control. Traditional manual administration, fragmented tooling, and disconnected data strategies can slow innovation, increase operational risk, and make it harder to control costs at scale.

“Your storage architecture dictates how every workload runs,” said Sandeep Singh, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Platform at NetApp. “Customers should not have to choose between the performance and control of on-premises infrastructure and the flexibility of cloud. With these new hybrid multi-cloud capabilities, NetApp is helping enterprises break down the borders between environments, operate with greater autonomy, and put efficiency, sovereignty, and control at the center of their data strategy.”

The new capabilities announced today extend the NetApp Platform with autonomous control, stronger economics, sovereignty-aware storage-as-a-service, and broader management across hybrid multi-cloud environments. Together, they help customers operate more consistently across data centers and public clouds, reduce cost exposure as data grows, and preserve control over where data, support, telemetry, and operations reside.

The new hybrid multi-cloud capabilities include:

NetApp Keystone Sovereign provides clearer regional governance and increases trust to address sovereignty expectations and customer concerns around data residency and operational access. Qualified European Economic Area customers can now use data sovereignty controls in support of their regional compliance and data residency journeys which go beyond data location to include data residency, technical, and regional considerations.

NetApp Console Autonomous Operations eliminate the reactive toil of managing fragmented tools across massive hybrid fleets by replacing manual approval loops with outcome-based automation that delivers business value and runs securely in air-gapped environments. The new capabilities deliver AI-assisted autonomous operations with human oversight and provide a control plane for the NetApp Platform, helping teams predict issues, resolve incidents faster, and optimize capacity and costs through intelligent, API-first design, and agentic AI-driven orchestration.

NetApp Console Fleet Management enables customers to manage their entire estate as a single entity with the confidence that they can keep environment healthy and at peak performance. The new solution delivers fleet management, observability, and AI through a second Console delivery model installed directly in the customer’s environment. NetApp Console now delivers one solution with two delivery models to meet customers’ needs, wherever their data lives.

NetApp Console AI ChatOps Interface replaces manual workflows with secure, conversational, outcome-based automation. It reduces the burden on enterprise IT administrators who manage fragmented tools across massive hybrid fleets, without sacrificing governance or control. The conversational ChatOps interface in NetApp Console delivers autonomous storage operations, intent-based provisioning, and policy guardrails across ONTAP storage systems. It also provides AI-powered reporting, predictive analytics, and automated remediation. Operating through an open LLM gateway, customers can realize secure AI operations, leveraging their own LLM while ensuring all actions remain within defined storage classes, policies, and governance boundaries.

Nutanix and NetApp are helping enterprises navigate evolving industry landscapes and maximize architectural freedom. The partnership empowers organizations to optimize their virtualized environments, protecting existing foundational investments with new levels of operational flexibility. By combining NetApp ONTAP with Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure, customers will benefit from the scale, security, and agility required for virtualized workloads. This integrated capability is scheduled to be generally available this fall.

With these updates, NetApp is advancing a platform strategy built around consistent operations, governed data control, and infrastructure economics that scale with modern workloads. By unifying management across environments, enabling autonomous operations inside customer-defined guardrails, and extending as-a-service consumption to sovereignty-sensitive markets, NetApp gives enterprises the flexibility to build where they need to build while keeping data ready, protected, and under control.

“Enterprise IT leaders are under pressure to support AI-era workloads across increasingly distributed environments without compromising governance, cost control, or operational resilience,” said Dave McCarthy, Group Vice President, Cloud and Datacenters, Enterprise Infrastructure at IDC. “NetApp’s hybrid multi-cloud strategy addresses that challenge by bringing together autonomous operations, consistent data services, efficiency guarantees, and sovereignty-aware consumption models on a single platform. This approach gives organizations the flexibility to run workloads where they make the most sense while maintaining the control and consistency required for mission-critical infrastructure.”
