The Dream Championship is a worldwide Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team tournament that was held for the first time in 2019 to decide the top player in the world.

In the initial preparations for the event we were looking forward to intense matches taking place around the world and interacting with the players, however we had to postpone our original announcement and timing of the tournament due to the current spread of COVID-19.

As a result of careful consideration of what the Dream Championship should be this year, we have decided to carry out every part of the tournament, from the qualifiers to the finals, online.

The Online Qualifiers will be held in game from Friday, September 25. After that, the Final Regional Qualifiers will be held online and will consist of 4 groups representing different regions of the world. The Finals will be held online in December 2020, where only players who have passed these qualifications (*) can proceed.

*The top 3 players in the world ranking of the Online Qualifiers, the top 3 players from each of the 4 groups of the Final Regional Qualifiers, and the Dream Championship 2019 winner WillOfD, a total of 16 players, will participate in the Dream Championship Finals held online in December.

Australian government funds will support commercialisation of test for COVID-19 patient management

Funds will support the commercialisation of a respiratory virus host response test – a rapid-response assay to enhance current COVID-19 management activities and future viral pandemic preparedness.

SpeeDx are adapting the NBMLHD laboratory developed test that targets a key genetic marker that is uniquely expressed in response to respiratory virus infection, with levels of the marker correlated with disease progression.1,2 Utilising newly patented InSigniaTM technology that enhances the measurement of gene expression, the commercial test will be a rapid, high-throughput tool to support risk-based stratification of patients presenting with respiratory viral illness, including COVID-19.

Private Group RLS (USA) Inc. Acquires GE Healthcare’s U.S. Radiopharmacy Network

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- RLS (USA) Inc., (Radioisotope Life Sciences) has purchased General Electric’s (GE) U.S. radiopharmacy network, making it the largest pure molecular imaging focused firm in the United States. Capitor, (www.capitor.co) a boutique global financial advisory firm, structured and brought the deal to investors, playing a critical part in the years-long negotiation and collaboration between the parties. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The radiopharmacies will continue to supply GE Healthcare molecular imaging products, with RLS leveraging a 10-year distribution partnership agreement. The now privately-owned radiopharmacy network includes a minority ownership by Perceptive Advisors, a $7 billion healthcare specialist investment firm based in New York.
